Almony’s Property Maintenance, Inc. is a family-owned business with over thirteen years of experience in firewood.  As our company and our family continues to grow, we have a greater need for firewood harvesting.  We began harvesting firewood as an opportunity to work year round, not relying on mother nature to bring us snow in the winter as a means of income.  As our firewood pile grew, so did Brian’s enjoyment for harvesting wood. 

Variety of Cuts of Firewood Available

Almony's processes wood from harvest, removal from wooded areas, to cutting in length form, average length of 16“-18”, to splitting into medium rounds, a good average size for a homeowner to use in wood stoves or fireplaces, to stock piling each year to ensure a good seasoned firewood for our customers the following fall.  Custom orders to a specific length are available, so if you're in need of a shorter or longer length, we can handle this for you.

How Long is the Firewood Seasoned?

We work throughout the Fall and Winter to cut, split and stock pile our wood so it may season for an average 6-12 months prior to making it available per cord to our customers. 

Tip for Firewood Burning Customers

Make sure you're purchasing a full cord of firewood.  If you're looking for a hot, long burning fire, find a firewood provider who splits in a good size round so it takes longer to burn through; and be sure that it is good and seasoned firewood.  A professional's firewood means a hot fire!
