We sharpen our mower blades multiple times per week because dull blades means ripping or tearing of the grass, not a smooth, sharp, crisp cut.

We clean out our mower decks with each blade sharpening since over-clogged decks can mean improperly dispersed grass clippings, or clumping that can lead to brown spots within the lawn.

At the same time, we take the time to check for any leaks and for proper tire pressures.  Low tire pressure can mean an uneven cut or “slanted” cut, leaving gouged or, even worse, dead grass areas.
